أعلنت غرفة عمليّات "حزب الله" حول تواجد الجيش الإسرائيلي في قلعة الشّقيف التّاريخيّ، أنه "مع التّأثير السّلبي الكبير الّذي تسبّبت به المواد المصوّرة التي تبثّها المقاومة الإسلاميّة لعمليّاتها ضدّ قوات جيش العدوّ الإسرائيليّ في وعي المستوطنين داخل كيان الاحتلال، سعى جيش العدوّ جاهدًا للحصول على صورة يروّج لها على أنّها انتصار ساحق، علّه يسكّن من خلالها روع مستوطني الشّمال، فكان الهدف هو قلعة الشّقيف التّاريخية في جنوب لبنان والتي تبعد عن الحدود اللّبنانيّة الفلسطينيّة حوالي 4 كلم فقط".
وأكد الحزب، أنع "على مدى أكثر من 5 أيام، شنّ العدوّ الإسرائيليّ سلسلة من الاعتداءات الجويّة العنيفة والقصف المدفعيّ الكثيف على بلدة يحمر الشّقيف والقرى المحيطة بهدف السّيطرة عليها واحتلال قلعة الشّقيف، وما إن تقدّم باتّجاه أطراف البلدة الجنوبية حتّى واجه مقاومة بطوليّة وشرسة ونيران كثيفة من مجاهدي المقاومة الإسلاميّة منعته من تحقيق هدفه، فاكتفى بالّلجوء إلى أطراف البلدة الشرقيّة ذات التّضاريس الوعرة".
ولفت الى أن "غروب يوم السّبت 30/05/2026 تسلّلت مجموعة مشاة إسرائيليّة تحت غطاء دخانيّ كثيف من الجهة الشرقيّة لقلعة الشّقيف حيث المسارات غير المرئيّة، ووصلت إلى القلعة والتقطت مجموعة من الصّور الفوتوغرافيّة الّتي سارع العدوّ إلى توزيعها صباح الأحد والتّرويج بأنّه احتلّ القلعة، علمًا أنّ القلعة كانت خالية من أيّ وجود عسكريّ للمقاومة".
وقال "يجد العدو منذ فجر أمس وحتى ساعة إصدار هذا البيان صعوبة كبيرة في تثبيت قوّاته في محيط القلعة، حيث تتواجد هذه القوّات قرب منطقة الاستراحة أسفل القلعة"، مشددةً على أنه "تخوض المقاومة الإسلاميّة معركة استنزاف ضدّ قوّات جيش العدوّ الإسرائيليّ المتواجدة في المنطقة، والمشاهد المصوّرة القادمة ستثبت ذلك".
Hezbollah’s Operations Room issued a statement regarding the presence of Israeli forces at the historic Beaufort Castle, saying that “due to the significant negative impact that footage released by the Islamic Resistance has had on the morale of settlers inside Israel, the Israeli army sought to obtain images it could promote as a decisive victory in an attempt to reassure residents of the north. Its target was the historic Beaufort Castle in southern Lebanon, located approximately four kilometers from the Lebanese-Palestinian border.”
The group stated that “for more than five days, the Israeli army carried out a series of intense airstrikes and heavy artillery bombardments against Yohmor al-Shaqif and surrounding villages with the aim of taking control of the area and occupying Beaufort Castle. However, as soon as it advanced toward the southern outskirts of the town, it encountered fierce resistance and heavy fire from resistance fighters, preventing it from achieving its objective. It therefore limited its presence to the rugged eastern outskirts of the town.”
Hezbollah added that “at sunset on Saturday, May 30, 2026, an Israeli infantry unit infiltrated the eastern side of Beaufort Castle under dense smoke cover, using concealed routes. The force reached the castle and took photographs, which Israel quickly distributed on Sunday morning, claiming it had captured the site, despite the castle being devoid of any resistance military presence.”
The statement further claimed that “since dawn yesterday and up until the time of issuing this statement, the enemy has faced major difficulties in establishing its forces around the castle, with troops positioned near the rest area below the fortress.”
It concluded by stressing that “the Islamic Resistance is engaged in a war of attrition against Israeli forces present in the area, and the upcoming footage will prove it.”
