وبيّن الاستطلاع أن 63% من الأميركيين يعتقدون أن الحرب قد تتحول إلى صراع طويل الأمد، ما يعكس مخاوف متزايدة من تداعيات التصعيد واستمراريته
وفي السياق ذاته، تراجعت نسبة التأييد لأداء الرئيس دونالد ترامب في إدارة الملف الاقتصادي إلى 31%، وهو أدنى مستوى له، في ظل ضغوط اقتصادية وارتفاع أسعار الوقود المرتبطة بالحرب
كما أظهر الاستطلاع تراجع الدعم للعملية العسكرية في إيران إلى 34%، مقابل ارتفاع نسبة المعارضة القوية إلى 43%، إلى جانب شكوك واسعة حول قدرة ترامب على إدارة هذا الملف، وذلك قبيل خطابه المرتقب في البيت الأبيض
ولم يقتصر التباين على الانقسام الحزبي التقليدي، إذ برزت تحفظات حتى داخل بعض الأوساط الجمهورية، بما فيها مؤيدو «Make America Great Again»، فيما استمر الديمقراطيون والمستقلون في معارضة التدخل العسكري بشكل واضح

Support for the military operation in Iran has also declined to 34%, while strong opposition has risen to 43%, alongside widespread doubts about Trump’s ability to manage this issue, just ahead of his anticipated White House speech
The divide is not limited to traditional partisan lines, as reservations have also emerged within some Republican circles, including among “Make America Great Again” supporters, while Democrats and independents continue to clearly oppose military intervention
