بدوره، اعتبر السيناتور ليندسي غراهام أن هذا الغموض مقصود، مشيراً إلى أن الهدف هو إبقاء الجميع في حالة عدم يقين حيال الخطوات المقبلة.
في المقابل، ذكرت صحيفة «إندبندنت» أن ترمب بدأ يشعر بـ«السأم» من الحرب مع إيران، ويسعى إلى إنهاء هذا الملف للتركيز على معركته السياسية المرتبطة بانتخابات تشرين الثاني المقبلة.
وتتزايد التوقعات بإمكانية أن يتضمن الخطاب إعلاناً عن «نصر» خلال فترة قصيرة، قد لا تتجاوز أسبوعين، في خطوة تهدف إلى احتواء تداعيات الحرب، ولا سيما على صعيد أسعار الوقود، إضافة إلى تعزيز موقعه الشعبي داخلياً.
وبين سيناريوهات التهدئة والتصعيد، يبقى خطاب ترمب المنتظر محور الاهتمام، في محاولة لفهم الاتجاه الذي ستسلكه السياسة الأميركية في المرحلة المقبلة.

In this context, Axios reported that Trump’s uncoordinated statements have caused “significant confusion” within his team and in the markets, with advisers saying that “no one really knows what the president is thinking.”
For his part, Senator Lindsey Graham considered this ambiguity intentional, noting that the aim is to keep everyone uncertain about the next steps.
Meanwhile, The Independent reported that Trump has begun to feel “weary” of the war with Iran and is seeking to end the issue in order to focus on his political battle tied to the upcoming November elections.
Expectations are growing that the speech may include an announcement of a “victory” within a short timeframe—possibly not exceeding two weeks—in a move aimed at containing the repercussions of the war, particularly on fuel prices, as well as strengthening his domestic standing.
Between scenarios of de-escalation and escalation, Trump’s anticipated speech remains the center of attention, as observers try to understand the direction U.S. policy will take in the coming phase.
