أفادت البحرية الأميركية بأن حاملة الطائرات «بوش» تتواجد حالياً قبالة سواحل ناميبيا، في طريقها إلى بحر العرب، ضمن تحرك بحري يعكس تبدلات في الانتشار العسكري الأميركي في المنطقة.
مسار بديل لتجنّب البحر الأحمر
وبحسب الموقع الإعلامي للبحرية الأميركية، نقلًا عن مسؤولين أميركيين، فإن الحاملة ومجموعتها الضاربة تقوم بدورية في أفريقيا، بعدما غادرت مسار البحر الأبيض المتوسط. وأوضح المسؤولون أن السفينة تسلك حالياً طريقًا أطول يلتف حول القارة الأفريقية، متجنبة المرور عبر البحر الأحمر ومضيق باب المندب.
وأشاروا إلى أن هذا القرار يأتي لتفادي المخاطر الأمنية، لا سيما الهجمات الصاروخية التي تشنها حركة «أنصار الله» في اليمن، وفق ما نقلت وكالة «تسنيم» الإيرانية.
تصاعد التهديدات في البحر الأحمر
وكان قائد «أنصار الله»، السيد عبد الملك الحوثي، قد أعلن في وقت سابق أن عمليات الجماعة تتجه نحو التصعيد، مؤكدًا أنها تأتي ضمن خطة مدروسة تأخذ في الاعتبار تطورات الحرب وامتدادها الزمني.
واعتبر الحوثي أن من أبرز نتائج هذه العمليات هو منع الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل من استخدام البحر الأحمر في تنفيذ عمليات عسكرية ضد إيران وحلفائها.
تصعيد أميركي في المقابل
بالتوازي، دخل تهديد الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب بفرض حصار على جميع السفن المتجهة إلى الموانئ الإيرانية أو الخارجة منها حيّز التنفيذ، صباح أمس بتوقيت الساحل الشرقي للولايات المتحدة.
وأعلن الجيش الأميركي أن الحصار سيُفرض في خليج عُمان وبحر العرب شرق مضيق هرمز، وسيشمل جميع السفن بغض النظر عن الأعلام التي ترفعها.
تطورات بعد فشل المفاوضات
وتأتي هذه التحركات في أعقاب إعلان كل من واشنطن وطهران انتهاء المفاوضات التي جرت في العاصمة الباكستانية إسلام آباد، من دون التوصل إلى اتفاق لإنهاء الحرب، ما يعكس تصعيدًا متبادلًا في الميدانين العسكري والسياسي.
The US Navy reported that the aircraft carrier Bush is currently off the coast of Namibia, on its way to the Arabian Sea, as part of a naval movement reflecting shifts in US military deployment in the region.
Alternative route to avoid the Red Sea
According to the US Navy’s media website, citing US officials, the carrier and its strike group are conducting a patrol in Africa after leaving the Mediterranean route. Officials explained that the ship is currently taking a longer path around the African continent, avoiding passage through the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
They noted that this decision comes to avoid security risks, particularly missile attacks launched by Ansar Allah in Yemen, according to Iran’s Tasnim Agency.
Escalating threats in the Red Sea
The leader of Ansar Allah, Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, had previously announced that the group’s operations are heading toward escalation, stressing that they come ضمن a studied plan that takes into account developments in the war and its prolonged duration.
Al-Houthi considered that one of the main outcomes of these operations is preventing the United States and Israel from using the Red Sea to carry out military operations against Iran and its allies.
US escalation in response
At the same time, the threat by US President Donald Trump to impose a blockade on all ships heading to or leaving Iranian ports came into effect yesterday morning Eastern Time.
The US military announced that the blockade will be imposed in the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea east of the Strait of Hormuz, and will include all ships regardless of the flags they carry.
Developments after failed negotiations
These movements come after both Washington and Tehran announced the end of negotiations held in Islamabad, Pakistan, without reaching an agreement to end the war, reflecting mutual escalation on both the military and political fronts
