أكدت مصادر متابعة أن وزيرة التربية قد تجد نفسها خلال الأيام المقبلة أمام خيار إلغاء الامتحانات الرسمية للشهادة الثانوية، في ظل الصعوبات المتزايدة التي تواجهها الوزارة لتأمين مراكز الامتحانات والكادر البشري والإداري اللازم لإجراء هذا الاستحقاق.
وأشارت المصادر إلى أن الجهود المبذولة لتنظيم الامتحانات تواجه تحديات لوجستية وأمنية متزايدة، بالتزامن مع تصاعد الاعتراضات والتحركات الطلابية الرافضة للآلية المعتمدة من قبل الوزارة.
في المقابل، لفتت مصادر تربوية إلى أن القطاع التعليمي في لبنان يعاني منذ سنوات من تداعيات الأزمات المتلاحقة التي بدأت عام 2019، ما انعكس سلباً على مستوى التعليم ومكانة الشهادة اللبنانية على الصعيدين الإقليمي والدولي.
وأكدت أن الحفاظ على قيمة الشهادة اللبنانية يتطلب معالجة شاملة للأزمة التربوية وإيجاد حلول تعيد الثقة بالقطاع التعليمي، محذرة من أن استمرار التراجع الحالي قد يؤدي إلى نتائج أكثر خطورة في المستقبل.

Sources following the file have indicated that the Minister of Education may find herself in the coming days facing the option of canceling the official secondary school examinations, amid mounting difficulties in securing examination centers and the administrative and human resources required to conduct the exams.
The sources noted that efforts to organize the examinations are facing increasing logistical and security challenges, alongside growing student objections and protest movements rejecting the mechanism adopted by the ministry.
Meanwhile, educational sources pointed out that Lebanon’s education sector has been suffering for years from the consequences of successive crises that began in 2019, negatively affecting both educational standards and the reputation of the Lebanese diploma at the regional and international levels.
They stressed that preserving the value of the Lebanese certificate requires a comprehensive approach to the educational crisis and the adoption of solutions capable of restoring confidence in the sector, warning that continued deterioration could lead to even more serious consequences in the future.
