أكد رئيس رابطة التعليم الثانوي الرسمي جمال عمر أن سلامة الطلاب والأساتذة يجب أن تبقى الأولوية المطلقة في أي قرار يتعلق بالامتحانات الرسمية، مشدداً على أن أي استحقاق تربوي يفقد قيمته إذا غابت مقومات الأمان.
وأوضح عمر أن الامتحانات الرسمية تشكل محطة أساسية في المسار التعليمي للطلاب، إلا أن نجاحها يبقى مرتبطاً بقدرة الدولة على توفير ظروف آمنة ومناسبة لإجرائها، بعيداً عن أي مخاطر أو ضغوط قد تنعكس سلباً على الطلاب والكادر التعليمي.
وأشار إلى أن الرابطة تتابع التطورات الأمنية والتربوية عن كثب، انطلاقاً من مسؤوليتها تجاه الطلاب والأهالي الذين يعيشون حالة من القلق مع اقتراب موعد الامتحانات، مؤكداً أن مصلحة الطلاب تبقى فوق أي اعتبار آخر.
كما شدد على ضرورة اعتماد مقاربة واقعية ومسؤولة تأخذ في الاعتبار هواجس الأهالي، ولا سيما في المناطق التي تشهد توترات أمنية متكررة، لافتاً إلى أن أي قرار بشأن الامتحانات يجب أن ينطلق أولاً من مبدأ حماية الإنسان.
وختم بالتأكيد أن الرابطة ستعلن موقفها النهائي بعد استكمال المشاورات، مشيراً إلى أن الأمن التربوي سيبقى المعيار الأساسي في أي قرار يُتخذ، حفاظاً على حق الطلاب بالتعليم وسلامتهم في آن واحد.
Jamal Omar, President of the Official Secondary Education Teachers’ League, stressed that the safety of students and teachers must remain the absolute priority in any decision related to official examinations, emphasizing that any educational milestone loses its value if adequate security and safety conditions are absent.
Omar explained that official examinations represent a fundamental stage in students’ academic journeys, but their success remains dependent on the state’s ability to provide safe and appropriate conditions for conducting them, free from risks or pressures that could negatively affect students and educational staff.
He noted that the league is closely monitoring both security and educational developments, given its responsibility toward students and parents who are experiencing growing concern as the examination period approaches. He stressed that students’ interests must take precedence over all other considerations.
He also emphasized the need for a realistic and responsible approach that takes into account the concerns of parents, particularly in areas experiencing recurring security tensions, pointing out that any decision regarding examinations must begin with the principle of protecting people first.
Omar concluded by stating that the league will announce its final position after completing consultations, stressing that educational security will remain the primary criterion guiding any decision, in order to safeguard both students’ right to education and their safety.
