بيان للرئيس بري عن مستجدات وقف إطلاق النار

رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري:

ـ يا أهلنا الأعزاء يا من حملتم الجنوب والبقاع والضاحية في قلوبكم وأنتم تغادرون الأرض المباركة والذين كتب أبناؤكم بالدم والتضحيات سيرة الصمود والإباء والانتماء الوطني يامن تشتعل فيكم لهفة العودة إلى البلدات والقرى، كما كنتم على الدوام في الاستحقاقات الصعبة، نعرف وجع الشوق ومرارة الانتظار.

ـ لهذا نخاطبكم بأن الحفاظ على السلامة والأرواح من أولى الواجبات وهو أصدق وفاء للأرض، نتمنى على الجميع التريث في الانتقال إلى البلدات والقرى حتى تتضح الأمور والمجريات وفقا لإتفاق وقف إطلاق النار

'Our dear people, you who carried the south, the Bekaa, and the southern suburbs in your hearts as you left the blessed land, and whose sons wrote with blood and sacrifices a history of resilience, pride, and national belonging, you whose longing to return to towns and villages burns within you, as you have always been in difficult times, we know the pain of longing and the bitterness of waiting.

For this, we address you that preserving safety and lives is among the foremost duties and the truest loyalty to the land. We ask everyone to remain patient in returning to towns and villages until matters and developments become clear according to the ceasefire agreement.'
