أكّد الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي، خلال اتصال مع الرئيس جوزيف عون، ضرورة تحقيق توافق سياسي داخلي قبل أي اتفاق مع إسرائيل، في ظل شكوك مصرية بشأن التزام تل أبيب الكامل بالتهدئة.
مصدر مصري رفيع شدّد على دعم حوار لبناني شامل من دون إقصاء، معتبراً أن أي اتفاق يحتاج إلى توافق وطني لضمان تنفيذه، محذّراً من التسرّع في توقيع اتفاق أمني من دون ضمانات تمنع تكرار الانتهاكات الإسرائيلية، ومؤكداً ضرورة حماية السلم الأهلي.
في هذا السياق، جرت اتصالات بين القصر الجمهوري والسفارة المصرية لتوضيح المواقف، قبل اتصال مباشر بين عون والسيسي. كما أكّد السفير المصري علاء موسى استمرار دعم لبنان في المفاوضات، مشيراً إلى أهمية امتلاك أوراق قوة.
ويجري التداول بمجموعة شروط لأي اتفاق، أبرزها وقف كامل لإطلاق النار، انسحاب إسرائيلي شامل، إطلاق الأسرى، عودة النازحين، وإعادة الإعمار، ضمن مساعٍ إقليمية أوسع يصعب فصل لبنان عنها.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, during a call with President Joseph Aoun, stressed the need to achieve internal political consensus before any agreement with Israel, amid Egyptian doubts about Tel Aviv’s full commitment to de-escalation.
A senior Egyptian source emphasized support for comprehensive Lebanese dialogue without exclusion, considering that any agreement requires national consensus to ensure its implementation, warning against rushing into signing a security agreement without guarantees to prevent repeated Israeli violations, and stressing the need to protect civil peace.
In this context, contacts took place between the presidential palace and the Egyptian embassy to clarify positions, before a direct call between Aoun and el-Sisi. Egyptian Ambassador Alaa Moussa also confirmed continued support for Lebanon in the negotiations, pointing to the importance of possessing leverage.
A set of conditions for any agreement is being discussed, most notably a full ceasefire, complete Israeli withdrawal, the release of prisoners, the return of displaced persons, and reconstruction, within broader regional efforts that are difficult to separate Lebanon from.
