توقّعت دائرة التقديرات في مصلحة الأرصاد الجوية أن يتأثر لبنان والحوض الشرقي للمتوسط بكتل هوائية دافئة محمّلة بالغبار مصدرها مصر، ما يؤدي إلى ارتفاع ملحوظ بدرجات الحرارة لتتخطى معدلاتها الموسمية، على أن يبلغ تأثيرها ذروته يوم الخميس، خصوصًا على الساحل الجنوبي حيث قد تتجاوز الحرارة 30 درجة وسط أجواء عابقة ومغبرة.

وأشارت إلى أن هذه الموجة تبدأ بالانحسار اعتبارًا من ظهر يوم الجمعة، مع تأثر المنطقة بمنخفض جوي يتمركز شمالًا ويقترب تدريجيًا، ما يؤدي إلى طقس متقلب يترافق مع أمطار موحلة وانخفاض ملحوظ بدرجات الحرارة، لتعود إلى معدلاتها الموسمية، على أن يستمر تأثيره حتى ظهر الاثنين قبل عودة الاستقرار.

الأربعاء: غبار ورياح ناشطة

يكون الطقس غائمًا جزئيًا إلى غائم بسحب مرتفعة، مع انخفاض في نسبة الرطوبة وارتفاع ملموس بدرجات الحرارة يتجاوز المعدلات الموسمية بنحو 5 درجات. كما تنشط الرياح لتصل سرعتها إلى نحو 55 كم/س، وتكون محمّلة بطبقات من الغبار تؤدي إلى سوء في الرؤية.

الخميس: ذروة الحرارة وأجواء خانقة

يكون الطقس غائمًا بسحب مرتفعة وأجواء عابقة ومغبرة، مع رياح ناشطة تصل سرعتها إلى 55 كم/س، وارتفاع إضافي بدرجات الحرارة التي تتخطى 30 درجة على الساحل. ومع ساعات بعد الظهر، تتكاثف الغيوم وتتساقط أمطار متفرقة موحلة، خاصة في المناطق الداخلية.

الجمعة: بداية الانخفاض وأمطار رعدية

يكون الطقس غائمًا جزئيًا إلى غائم بسحب متوسطة، مع بقاء الحرارة مرتفعة خلال النهار، قبل أن تبدأ بالانخفاض التدريجي اعتبارًا من بعد الظهر. ترتفع نسبة الرطوبة وتستمر الأجواء المغبرة، مع تشكّل الضباب على المرتفعات وتساقط أمطار موحلة متفرقة، قد تترافق مع برق ورعد ورياح ناشطة تصل أحيانًا إلى 70 كم/س، ما يؤدي إلى ارتفاع موج البحر.

السبت: انخفاض ملحوظ واستقرار تدريجي

يكون الطقس غائمًا جزئيًا إلى غائم أحيانًا، مع انخفاض ملحوظ بدرجات الحرارة وعودتها إلى معدلاتها الموسمية. يتكوّن الضباب على المرتفعات، وتتساقط أمطار متفرقة صباحًا مع احتمال حدوث برق ورعد، قبل أن تخف حدتها بعد الظهر مع انفراجات واسعة.

The Forecasting Department at the Meteorological Service expected Lebanon and the eastern Mediterranean basin to be affected by warm air masses loaded with dust coming from Egypt, leading to a noticeable rise in temperatures exceeding seasonal averages, with the peak expected on Thursday, especially along the southern coast where temperatures may exceed 30 degrees amid hazy and dusty conditions.

It indicated that this wave will begin to recede starting Friday afternoon, as the region becomes affected by a low-pressure system centered to the north and gradually approaching, leading to unstable weather accompanied by muddy rain and a noticeable drop in temperatures, returning to seasonal averages, with its impact continuing until Monday afternoon before stability returns.

The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with high clouds, with a decrease in humidity and a noticeable rise in temperatures exceeding seasonal averages by about 5 degrees. Winds will become active, reaching speeds of around 55 km/h, carrying layers of dust that will reduce visibility.

Thursday: peak heat and stifling conditions

The weather will be cloudy with high clouds and hazy, dusty conditions, with active winds reaching 55 km/h, and a further rise in temperatures exceeding 30 degrees along the coast. In the afternoon, clouds will thicken and scattered muddy rain will fall, especially in inland areas.

Friday: beginning of the drop and thunderstorms

The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with medium clouds, with temperatures remaining high during the day before gradually decreasing starting in the afternoon. Humidity will rise and dusty conditions will persist, with fog forming over the highlands and scattered muddy rain falling, possibly accompanied by thunder and lightning, and active winds that may reach 70 km/h, leading to higher sea waves.

Saturday: noticeable drop and gradual stability

The weather will be partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy, with a noticeable drop in temperatures returning to seasonal averages. Fog will form over the highlands, and scattered rain will fall in the morning with a possibility of thunder and lightning, before easing in the afternoon with wide clear intervals.
